Top Engagement Locations in Bucks County PA Area

Top Engagement Locations in Bucks County, PA

As a Philadelphia wedding photographer I always have a few tricks up my sleeve for engagement photos. Most of the time when I speak with my couples they do not have a specific engagement photo shoot location in mind, so I make sure to have a nice long list handy. Here are some of my favorite engagement shoot locations in the Bucks County and Philadelphia areas. New Hope- If you are inestersted in pretty greens, the canal path, pictures of the bridge and anything in between, New Hope PA is a great spot for your engagement photos. You can even trek across the bridge to Lambertville for more great locations. Permit: None

Forbidden Drive Wissahickon- So this is not technically Bucks County, but it is close enough. Forbiddehn Drive is a great location for fall follage, it also has the benefit of being very covered by trees so we can head here earlier and I don’t have to worry about any harsh sunlight. If you are feeling really adventurous we can hike down to the waters edge for a different view of the bridge.

Permit- None

Philadelphia Art Museam- Another location that is just outside Bucks County. If you would like the iconic Art Museam steps then I suggest doing a sunrise engagement session to avoid the crowds.

Permit can be needed

Peace Valley Park- I must say that this might be my favorite location for an engagement shoot, there is something for everyone here. If you want beautiful fall colors and fields you will find it here. Do you want a lake, dock, boats, you will also find it here. The lake is so big that every time I am here for a photo shoot I find a new dreamy location.

Permit: None

Sayen House and Garden- This is a fan favorite for most photographers in the area! How is this beautiful garden a public park, how lucky is this town.

Permit- None

Easton Canal Park- Right on the border of Bucks County, this park makes a lovely engagement photo session. You have beautiful views of Easton through the trees, the river, and a lovely garden.

No Permit

Tyler State Park- This is another great location for an engagement session, it really does offer a lot of different looks. Fields, water, covered bridge Permit- Needed, but I have one if you are a L.Armour Style Couple

Glen Foerd- This stunning wedding venue and park are open to engagement sessions year round. Walk around the gardens, view the river, and take your pictures infront of the iconic green window shutters.

No Permit

Grounds For Sculpture- A very unique place for your engagement session. Be prepared to wander around for a couple hours to find all the best spots.

Permit: Permission is required along with timed ticket sales

Feel free to email me with questions about other great engagement session locations, as a Philadelphia area wedding photographer I love going to new locations!
